Directions

Directions if you fly:

  • Look for the northernmost airport in Virginia on the Washington sectional chart. (SCOTT)
  • Field Elevation: 506 ft. MSL. LAT. 39.15.50 LONG. 077.39.15
  • Pattern: Normal Left. Runway 01 / 19, 3000ft. + 400ft. overrun.
  • SSA signals and operating practices apply.
  • In light wind conditions we will takeoff to the NORTH, and land to the SOUTH.
  • There is a shallow ditch along the pasture fence on the east side of the runway.

N O T A M S

CAUTION! There is a 5 inch deep ditch on the west side of the runway where a drain culvert goes under the runway at about mid point. A clump of tall grass marks the spot.
